All About Ms. Le
Hi! My name is Ms. Le. Some students also like to call me by married name, Mrs. Carrera. I graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a degree in teaching grades K-9 and a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. This is my 6th year teaching at Tonti Elementary School and it is such a great school for students and educators alike. I taught first grade for two years and second grade for the past 4 years. I love teaching and seeing how much my students grow academically and emotionally. There's so much I learn about myself as a educator through my students every year!
I was born and raised in Illinois and love where I live in Chicago. I am blessed to have a growing family with my parents, two sisters, two brother-in-laws, and three little nephews. I just got married last year in June and am lucky to have my husband and his family as well! My husband and I are so happy with our 3-year-old pup named Toby, that we adopted in September. We love to spoil him with our love and cuddles.
I love animals, traveling, learning about different cultures, and gaining new experiences whenever possible! I love teaching and remember wanting to be teacher at a very young age. I continually look forward to the many opportunities to learn from my students and collegues.
